Conservative Republican Robert Ridley is a father, businessman and lifelong resident of North Georgia. He understands what makes Cherokee County special, and for those who call it home, community comes before commotion. With the help of a few friends, he built his house just outside of Ball Ground in 1996. Robert has operated KB’s Grill and Pub in Kennesaw since 1991 and also owns North Georgia Deer Processing with his son Tyler. He and his wife Debbie were blessed with 3 children, all of whom graduated from the Cherokee County public schools.

Robert is a community leader and a founding member of the City of Kennesaw's Alcohol Control Board. His family's passion for competitive motorsports led him to serve as President of the Metro-Atlanta Quarter Midget Association. Robert attends church with his family at Christ Episcopal Church, and when he isn’t managing his small businesses, he enjoys restoring classic cars, turkey and deer hunting and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Robert's platform reflects his rural Georgia values. As an entrepreneur who has signed both sides of a paycheck, he knows the burden that high taxes put on families and businesses. He wants to put money back into the pockets of Cherokee County residents, not government coffers. Robert will bring efficiency to Cherokee County through a county DOGE department. Cutting waste and reducing reckless spending will end the need for high taxes and pass these savings back to hardworking families. Robert knows that heritage and tradition make Cherokee County so spectacular. He will protect wildlife and nature so that we can maintain our rural identity. Robert wants to give his children and grandchildren the same great environment that we all enjoyed as kids. Cherokee County is a great place to raise a family and Robert will maintain this by fully funding public safety. We need police and EMS to work for the people, not excessive profits. Robert will not privatize our crucial EMS providers. Preserving nature and essential services is important to keeping our county great. Robert will bring these values to county infrastructure and growth, ensuring that roads are well maintained and businesses can grow without overdevelopment. Cherokee County's identity will not be lost to progress because Robert will make sure all local growth is in line with local values.
