ABOUT ROBERT RIDLEY

Conservative Republican Robert Ridley is a father, businessman and lifelong resident of North Georgia. He understands what makes Cherokee County special, and for those who call it home, community comes before commotion. With the help of a few friends, he built his house just outside of Ballground in 1996. Robert has operated KB’s Grill and Pub in Kennesaw since 1991 and also owns North Georgia Deer Processing with his son Tyler. He and his wife Debbie were blessed with 3 children, all of whom graduated from the Cherokee County public schools.

Robert is a community leader and a founding member of the City of Kennesaw's Alcohol Control Board. His family's passion for competitive motorsports led him to serve as President of the Metro-Atlanta Quarter Midget Association. Robert attends church with his family at Christ Episcopal Church, and when he isn’t managing his small businesses, he enjoys restoring classic cars, turkey and deer hunting and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.

ISSUES

ROBERT ON THE ISSUES

Having signed both the front and back of paychecks, Robert understands the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and families alike. As a successful small business owner, Robert knows that minimizing tax burdens creates opportunity for everyone. As a father, he knows that families know best how to best spend their hard-earned dollars, not the government. That’s why as county commissioner Robert will work to keep more money in the pockets of taxpayers and the local job creators who employ them.

CONSERVATIVE TAX FIGHTING CHAMPION

Like President Trump, Robert understands the importance of combating waste, fraud and abuse. As county commissioner, he will serve Cherokee County taxpayers by ensuring resources are utilized efficiently, effectively and transparently. Robert believes that money should belong in the hands of taxpayers, not spent wastefully and on unnecessary projects.

D.O.G.E. CHEROKEE COUNTY

Ridley (1).png

As a father and grandfather, Robert will first and foremost prioritize keeping Cherokee County families safe. Robert will always Back The Blue and ensure the brave men and women serving with the Cherokee County Sheriff's office have every resource necessary to combat fentanyl, dangerous criminal illegal aliens, violent gangs that recruit kids and human traffickers. Additionally, Robert will fight against the privatization of EMS services to protect both lives and jobs.

PRIORITIZING PUBLIC SAFETY

Robert understands how precious Cherokee County’s rural identity is for us who live here. He will ensure measured, responsible growth so that the natural beauty of Cherokee County is preserved for future generations. He will strive to keep Cherokee County the best place to live, work, and raise a family in Georgia.

PRESERVING & PROTECTING CHEROKEE COUNTY

True conservative leadership means addressing the needs of the community while keeping money in the pockets of taxpayers. That’s why Robert will work with GDOT to alleviate traffic and improve infrastructure with state funds to protect Cherokee families from tax increases.
